Elden Ring is a difficult game, just like the rest of the Soulsborne lineup is. But that shouldn’t deter you from playing. There are a lot of ways to lower the difficulty enter Elden Ring Easy Mode.

  • Summoning help in the form of:
    • Spirits
    • NPCs
    • Other players (Co-op)
  • Grinding for levels
  • Finding better equipment
  • Git Gud

There’s also the art of Cheese or Cheesing. Welcome to Elden Ring Easy Mode.

I’ll take an Elden Ring Easy Mode with Cheese.

Sometimes you just have to go for it. Elden Ring has a huge open-world that can be explored from the get-go; enemies and bosses don’t scale to your level, so you may have no chance against the enemies you encounter. If you can cheese some enemies to farm runes or grab an item in a quirky way, I feel that just adds to the fun of the experience. Hell, every time I play Dark Souls, I shoot the Hellkite Wyvern’s tail until I receive the Drake Sword, a fantastic starting weapon.

Praise the Cheese In Elden Ring.

I’m 10 hours into Elden Ring and am working on the first entry in my Elden Ring Diaries series, which is up now!

Do you have any Elden Ring Easy mode tips to share? Let me know in the comments.
